They’re falling a bit short of full-on endorsing Donald Trump, but they are suddenly unafraid to offer honest assessments that he was a very good president and not actually Orange Hitler. Sir Elton John is the latest celebrity to have some surprisingly nice things to say about the 45th and 47th president.

Elton John was asked during an interview by Variety what he thought of Donald Trump referring to North Korea’s Kim Jong Un as “little rocket man”—a reference to John’s song “Rocket Man.” The pop legend’s response must have shocked many Democrats since they all claimed that Trump calling Kim Jong Un a name like that was insane and that he was going to cause World War III.

John continues to say that Donald Trump has always been a fan of his music and that the two of them have always been friendly. The British rocker is known for being magnanimous toward conservatives despite his left-leaning politics. He performed at one of Rush Limbaugh’s weddings, and at Donald Trump’s wedding to Melania.

Just last week, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson finally admitted that has also been friendly with Trump for a long time. Trump would frequently go to Johnson’s wrestling matches at Madison Square Garden and they’ve known each other for a long time.
