If you haven’t heard, the political left is trying all they can to prevent Donald Trump from winning the White House back in 2024. Yet another such attempt just failed – this time in Michigan.
It’s no secret the left is absolutely terrified of Trump taking back the reins of this nation. Why else would they be coming after him on so many different levels?
They claimed he cheated in 2016. They claimed he colluded with Russia. They claim he’s committed business fraud. They claim he doesn’t pay his taxes. They claim he’s racist, that he hates women. Hell, they even claimed he sexually abused and raped someone.
And, of course, they claim he’s interfered with elections as well as caused a rebellion or insurrection.
So far, very little has stuck, if anything.
In fact, the only thing that has remotely hurt Trump is a recent ruling by Colorado’s state Supreme Court that Trump cannot be on the primary ballots for 2024 because he supposedly helped incite an “insurrection.”
But even that is technically still up for debate, as Trump can appeal the decision and hope for a better one.
And, of course, all of this is without him even being convicted of or charged with any crime, let alone insurrection.
Naturally, Colorado isn’t the only state to have tried such antics against Trump. Similar lawsuits have also been seen in Minnesota and now Michigan.
But unlike in Colorado’s case, the banning of Trump’s name was declined.
As Michigan’s Supreme Court wrote, it was “not persuaded that the questions presented should be reviewed by this Court.”
To be sure, this is a technical or procedural reason for declining the case. Nevertheless, it was declined anyway.
And so, Trump will get to see his name on the ballot in Michigan, a swing state that went to Biden in 2020 but has recently been polling in Trump’s favor.
As I said, good news for Trump.
