The eco-terrorists running the Biden regime have been working on a secret plan to destroy the four major hydroelectric dams on the Lower Snake River in the Pacific Northwest. This isn’t speculation or a conspiracy theory. Someone leaked a draft of the plan to the Tri-City Herald newspaper. Republicans in Congress are now calling out the Biden regime for this insane, anti-civilizational plan that would plunge half the homes in Oregon, Washington, and Idaho into darkness.
Members of the Biden regime have been working on this secret plan with four Native American tribes in the Pacific Northwest, along with the states of Washington and Oregon. According to the plan, Biden is willing to spend up to $1 billion in order to prepare to breach four dams on the Lower Snake River, in order to help fish populations become larger.
According to the document, the US government—at least while Joe Biden is in charge—is “committed to exploring restoration of the lower Snake River, including dam breach.”
The most startling part of this secret plan is that the people in the Biden regime who supposedly care about the environment have no alternative plan for replacing the power that would be lost when those dams are breached. They’re not even trying to put in goofy windmill farms to replace the power that will no longer be generated after they destroy these four completely renewable and carbon-neutral energy sources.
These four dams on the Lower Snake River provide 3,000 megawatts of power to the electric grid in Oregon, Washington, and Idaho. That’s enough electricity to power up to 4.5 million homes. And again—there is NO PLAN to come up with an alternate source of electricity for all those homes if these dams were to be breached and shut down.
(And not that anyone cares, but breaching a dam does catastrophic environmental damage to a river. Good luck explaining that one to the retards in Biden’s cabinet.)
The Republicans in Congress from Oregon, Washington, and Idaho are excoriating the Biden regime’s secret plan to destroy the power grid in their three states. Reps. Dan Newhouse (R-WA), Cathy McMorris Rodgers (R-WA), Cliff Bentz (R-OR), and Russ Fulcher (R-ID) are trying to sound the alarm now that this secret draft plan has been leaked.
One thing that many don’t realize is that only Congress has statutory authority to authorize breaching dams in American rivers. The Executive branch isn’t even allowed to conduct studies into the feasibility of breaching a dam. That’s a congressional power that Joe Biden does not have. Yet he is prepared to spend $1 billion in taxpayer money to plunge 4.5 million homes into a Medieval period in which electricity is only a thing of the past.
The draft of the plan includes vague promises to give the Yakama, Umatilla, Nez Pearce, and Warm Springs tribes of Native Americans funds so that they can develop alternative energy sources. Like they’re supposed to invent a better solar panel or something.
Something that is unsaid in this evil plan is that Oregon, Washington, and Idaho power companies would have to buy electricity from other states in order to keep the lights on. But who has that much extra power? The Biden regime has limited the expansion of new energy sources everywhere, even as they’re trying to sell everyone on the pipe dream of buying stupid electric cars. Biden’s climate czar John Kerry is running around demanding that all existing coal plants be shut down.
The good news is that the federal government doesn’t do things like this quickly. It gives everyone all the more incentive to vote Joe Biden and his doomsday cult of a political party out of office next year.
